The piece of news is already out that Tamil blockbuster Asuran will be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh as the lead. But the moment this is announced, many are wondering about the possible director of the movie, as directing the film like a Vetrimaran is a tough thing owing to the intensity he carves out in every scene.
Earlier it was heard that Suresh Babu has actually given the opportunity to Tharun Bhascker, who is actually preparing another story for the producer’s brother. However, Tharun is said to have smoothly declined the offer as he doesn’t want to handle a remake at this stage of his career. After his second film failed to click and his acts as a hero failed to impress big time, surely his next film should be quite strong.
With Tharun declining to take up the chance, we hear that Suresh Babu has touched Ohmkar now, who is actually looking forward to directing big stars. As Ohmkar doesn’t have any stories with him for stars and most of his remakes are only for his brother Ashwin, there is a possibility that he might take up this offer.
