YS Jagan Faces Irony: “Part-Time Politician” Tag Returns

Share

Time has a way of turning situations around, and verbal jabs often come back to haunt the one who delivered them. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan is now experiencing this firsthand.

In the past, Jagan used to mock N. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, calling them “part-time politicians” because they primarily resided in Hyderabad and visited Andhra Pradesh only occasionally. Ironically, the roles have reversed.

On the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi, Jagan made a brief visit to Andhra Pradesh, performing a quick Ganesh Puja at the YCP head office in Tadepalli before returning immediately to his Bengaluru residence. The visit appeared largely ceremonial, with little public engagement, highlighting a “part-time politician” scenario similar to what he once criticized.

Notably, this marks the 39th trip Jagan has made to Bengaluru since losing the 2024 elections. The same practice he ridiculed Chandrababu for between 2019 and 2024 is now a reality for him, proving that time can indeed turn the tables.
