Ajay Devgn’s Devgn CineX Coming to Hyderabad
Hyderabad is rapidly expanding, with continuous growth in infrastructure, technology, and entertainment spaces. The city’s multiplex culture is also evolving, with several new theatres launching each year, equipped with advanced features and premium amenities.
Many Tollywood stars already have their own multiplexes in Hyderabad. In collaboration with Asian Cinemas, actors like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Ravi Teja have launched AMB Cinemas, AAA Cinemas, and ART Cinemas respectively. Meanwhile, Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu are preparing to open AMB Classic, and the Allu family is planning another new multiplex. Now, a Bollywood star is joining this elite list.
Ajay Devgn, a noted actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, is bringing his multiplex chain to Hyderabad. Known for films like the Singham series, Tanhaji, and his impactful role in RRR, Ajay Devgn owns a theatre chain previously called NY Cinemas, named after his children Nyasa and Yug. It has now been rebranded as Devgn CineX. The flagship multiplex in Gurugram is known for offering a luxury cinema experience.
Devgn CineX is set to open a seven-screen premium multiplex at Coliseum Mall, Karmanghat, Hyderabad. The project is confirmed and is expected to launch next year. Ajay Devgn aims to bring back the nostalgic charm of movie-watching, blended with modern technology and comfort. He also plans to expand Devgn CineX to 250 screens across India in the coming years.
On the professional front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in Son of Sardaar 2 and De De Pyaar De 2. His upcoming films include Drishyam 3, Dhamaal 4, and Ranger.
