YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife YS Bharati is making a fast move towards plunging into active politics in Andhra Pradesh.
If the reports are believed to be true, Bharati will be a power centre in the party by 2019 elections. The statement made by Party MLA Giddi Eswari, who joined TDP, that Bharati spoke to her on phone in Sunday and tried hard to stop her from switching loyalties to ruling party gave clear indication that Jagan’s wife is monitoring the political developments in the party closely.
Ever since Jagan launched Padayatra on November 6 in AP, Bharati is closely watching the activities of the party as well as leaders. A group of leaders are updating her the political developments from time to time. Bharati is also speaking to leadership ascertaining the response to Jagan yatra everyday.
Leaders says Bharati is already busy looking after Sakshi news daily and TV channel’s affairs. In addition, Jagan entrusted his wife to monitor party affairs so that he will have sufficient time to visit the state at gross root level till the elections.
