YSRC launches new campaign ‘Jagan Anna Kanuka’

In the midst of the canvassing for the April 11 elections, the YSRC on Sunday launched another campaign, Jagan Anna Kanuka.

Through this campaign, the YSRC aims to take its message and that of party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ‘Navaratnalu’, nine promises, to every home.

Under the campaign, Assembly election nominees of the YSRC, with the help of booth committee members and volunteers, will visit every house in their respective constituencies.

Party candidates on Sunday conducted meetings with mandal in-charges and booth conveners to brief them on what the campaign entails. This was followed by door-to-door outreach and distribution of Jagan Anna Kanuka bags.

Each bags contain campaign material for 20 households and a guideline document, stickers and table calendars for 20 households and a badge for a booth committee member.

Booth conveners and committee members will form a team of 2-3 members and reach every house in their booth. They will explain the promises under Navaratnalu, and how they will benefit each member of the family. They will then hand over the table calendar.

People who agree to support the YSRC would be asked to give a ‘missed call’ on 9121091210, after which they will receive an IVR with party’s campaign song – ‘Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan’. Before leaving, the outreach team take the family’s permission and paste the sticker on the door.

It is expected that each candidate will reach 45,000 houses in their constituencies by April 9, when campaign ends.
