The YSRCP is facing internal confusion as party leaders remain unsure of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s whereabouts. Even a year and a half after the elections, questions persist over whether Jagan is in Andhra Pradesh or residing in Bengaluru. His extended absence from active public life has left the party uncertain about how to proceed.
Recently, some senior leaders prepared political programs to engage the public and sought Jagan’s approval and guidance. However, they struggled to get clarity on his location, often receiving vague responses from the Tadepalli office. This lack of transparency has caused frustration within the party ranks.
Jagan continues to communicate occasionally with the media from his home office, but most statements are now issued via social media, leaving followers unsure whether he is speaking from AP or Bengaluru. Senior YSRCP leaders admit that his messages are not reaching the public effectively. Consequently, several leaders have decided to launch their own local campaigns in their constituencies following the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, instead of waiting for directions from Jagan.
