When YSR who led Cong party to victory singlehandedly in 2009, expired in a tragic plane crash, many in Andhra Pradesh expected seasoned politician of the caliber of Chandra Babu Naidu will make his TDP to fill the vacuum and void created. However political situation changed drastically with Jagan, son of YSR, came out of Cong for greener pastures. Along with YSRCP and TRS which aroused the telangana sentiments suddenly, started gaining momentum at the cost of TDP and Cong fast fading into oblivion.
Now TDP MLAs who are fast losing hope on party fortunes are heard commenting that while its main rival opposition party YSRCP is planning its strategies and playing its games like T-20 match, while its party is still lagging behind playing like test match even when the 2014 elections are fast approaching. MLAs are heard commenting that just like test matches are fast losing peoples attention,even in politics people are running after parties who are planning their strategies aggressively just like in T-20 matches.
It has to be seen how TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu reacts to these comments from his MLAs and what steps he will take to restore confidence.
