India AI Impact Summit 2026 wrapped up three days of live demos, AI reveals, and panel discussions, with Zepto’s rapid-delivery ecosystem emerging as a standout convenience for attendees. Located at Bharat Mandapam, Zepto’s dark store provided instant snacks, beverages, and essentials, ensuring participants had everything they needed within minutes.
Business Today visited the 1,200 sq ft Zepto dark store outside Hall 3, where attendees could find a wide range of products—from quick snacks and energy drinks to stationery and electronics like power banks. The store also featured a Zepto Cafe, offering freshly prepared coffee, ready-to-eat bites, and quick meals, making it a one-stop solution for summit-goers.
Orders were placed via the Zepto app, with attendees specifying their hall number for convenient pick-up. Each hall had a dedicated collection point, and deliveries took approximately 15 minutes, impressive given the high footfall and complex logistics. About 50 staff managed tasks including picking, packing, and delivering orders. Workers’ handheld devices guided them efficiently through the shelves, showing one item at a time and ensuring quick packing. Products were scanned and packed into tagged bags before being transported to 11 designated pickup points across the venue, avoiding crowd navigation delays.
While overall numbers for the three-day summit are pending, Zepto CEO and co-founder Aadit Palicha revealed that on February 17 alone, the service completed 1,000 orders, highlighting strong demand and the effectiveness of rapid commerce at large events.
