On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Mega family sat down for an interview with a Telugu media house to share personal memories and reflections. During the conversation, Chiranjeevi opened up about his younger brother, Pawan Kalyan, and his eating habits, tying them to the nurturing care of their mother, Anjanamma.

Chiranjeevi fondly recalled how their mother was always concerned about Pawan Kalyan’s well-being, especially his eating habits. “Pawan Kalyan has always been particular about what he eats. Even when he is involved in protests or difficult situations, my mother worries about whether he’s eating properly. To make sure he’s taken care of, she often prepares his favorite biryani and sends it to him,” Chiranjeevi revealed.

The conversation further highlighted how Pawan Kalyan had always been the most pampered and nurtured child in the Konidela household. Naga Babu added his perspective, reminiscing about their childhood. He explained how, while Chiranjeevi never fussed about meals and ate whatever was cooked at home, Pawan Kalyan was different. “I (Naga Babu) used to create a fuss if my favorite food wasn’t prepared. But Pawan Kalyan would quietly skip the meal if it wasn’t something he liked. So, our mother always made sure to prepare meals that suited him so that he would eat with the rest of us,” Naga Babu said.

This conversation shed light on how Pawan Kalyan has always been the most coddled and cared-for child in the family, with Anjanamma’s love and attention playing a key role in his upbringing.
