Social media posts claimed the two were together during the celebrations, triggering widespread speculation and even rumours that Kartik and Sreeleela had parted ways. As the chatter escalated, Karina Kubiliute stepped in to shut down the rumours. Without issuing a formal statement, she made her position clear by updating her Instagram bio to read, “I don’t know Kartik.” The brief but pointed clarification immediately grabbed attention and effectively put the speculation to rest.

Some reports later suggested that while Karina may have been in Goa around the same time, she stayed at the same hotel as Kartik Aaryan but in a different room, and that there was no personal connection between the two. Sources further indicated that she may not even be acquainted with the actor.
