Thandel, starring Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya Akkineni and Sai Pallavi, has emerged as a massive blockbuster, becoming the highest-grossing film of Naga Chaitanya’s career within its first week. To celebrate this grand success, the team hosted a special Thank You Meet in Srikakulam, the place where the story originated. The event was filled with excitement as Naga Chaitanya danced with Sai Pallavi on stage, and even veteran producer Allu Aravind joined in the celebration by shaking a leg.

Speaking at the event, Sai Pallavi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the fishermen of Machaleswaram, whose stories inspired the film. She shared that she believed in Thandel from the moment she heard the script and thanked producer Bunny Vasu, presenter Allu Aravind, and director Chandoo Mondeti for trusting her with the role. She also mentioned how special it was to work with Naga Chaitanya and be a part of such a beautiful romantic drama.

Director Chandoo Mondeti thanked the people of Srikakulam for their overwhelming love and support, appreciating Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi for their stellar performances that contributed to the film’s success. Producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu echoed the sentiment, acknowledging the audience’s immense love for the movie.

Naga Chaitanya, in his speech, credited the people of Srikakulam and Machaleswaram for Thandel’s success, stating that without them, neither the film nor his character, Raju, would have existed. He shared his experience of learning fishing, deep-sea hunting, and throwing nets, which helped him bring authenticity to his role. The actor concluded his speech by delivering powerful lines from the movie, energizing the cheering crowd.

With its record-breaking success and strong emotional connection to the people of Srikakulam, Thandel continues to make waves in Telugu cinema.
