Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has left fans and audiences disappointed, with Lokesh Kanagaraj once again facing criticism for weak writing. Despite boasting a massive star cast, the film is being labeled a letdown, and only two actors seem to be walking away with all the credit — Malayalam actor Soubin Sahir and Tamil heroine Rachitha Ram.

Big names like Upendra, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, and Shruthi Haasan failed to make an impact due to poorly written characters, while even Aamir Khan’s cameo went largely unnoticed. Though Nagarjuna played the main antagonist, it is Soubin who stole the spotlight with his fiery performance and dazzling dance moves, living up to the hype surrounding his role.

Rachitha Ram, too, managed to impress audiences. Despite her simple look, her character arc designed by Lokesh Kanagaraj stood out, surprising fans with her transformation on screen. With no Telugu debut yet, Soubin could soon be flooded with offers, especially as more Malayalam actors make their way into Tollywood. Meanwhile, Rachitha Ram, who had a forgettable debut with Super Machhi in Telugu, may finally get her much-needed break after Coolie.
