Samantha, who has been focusing more on Bollywood films and web series lately, has now shifted her attention toward film production. After launching her own production house, she is gearing up to release her first official film under her banner.

Her maiden production venture, titled Shubam, has been generating buzz as a quirky comedy that blends humor with thrilling elements, offering a fresh take on everyday situations. The film has now completed shooting and is gearing up for its theatrical release soon.

Written by Vasanth Mariganti and directed by Praveen Kandregula, known for his work on the acclaimed Cinema Bandi, the film introduces six promising new talents to the industry—Harshith Malgireddy, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas, and Shravani.

Speaking about the project, Samantha shared, “This film embodies Tralala’s vision of unique, thought-provoking cinema.” The film features an impressive technical crew, including cinematographer Mridul Sujit Sen, production designer Ram Charan Tej, and editor Dharmendra Kakarla.

Shubam is produced under Tralala Moving Pictures in association with Kanakavalli Talkies. More details regarding its theatrical release will be announced soon.
