Following the success of Sankrantiki Vasthunnam, director Anil Ravipudi is now fully focused on shaping the script for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. As per reports, the first half of the script has already been completed, with initial work done in Vizag, following a sentiment. The remaining portion is currently being developed in Hyderabad, and Ravipudi is expected to present the full script to Chiranjeevi soon. While they don’t meet frequently in person, sources suggest that both are in constant touch over the phone, discussing script updates.

However, one of the biggest challenges for Ravipudi now is finalizing the right actress to pair alongside Chiranjeevi. Casting suitable heroines for senior stars has become a complex task for directors. Before locking in Aishwarya Rajesh for Sankrantiki Vasthunnam, Anil explored multiple options, with some actresses either declining the role or failing to meet expectations in trial shoots. Similarly, Meenakshi Chaudhary’s role also underwent a few refinements before finalizing her.

For Chiranjeevi’s film, the team is considering several options, with Aditi Rao Hydari being a strong contender. However, her suitability for Ravipudi’s vision is still being assessed. Given that the film will feature four songs, with at least two requiring the heroine to match Chiranjeevi’s energy in dance sequences, the casting choice is critical. If a perfect match isn’t found within Tollywood, the team is also open to exploring actresses from Bollywood.

Despite these challenges, the film’s schedule is strategically planned for a grand Sankranti 2026 release. Industry insiders hint that the film will carry the nostalgic essence of Gharana Mogudu and Gang Leader, promising a blend of mass entertainment and vintage megastar charisma. Fans eagerly await further updates as the project moves forward.
