Shocking Allegations: SS Rajamouli Accused of Ruining Producer’s Life
Acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli is at the center of a major controversy following serious allegations from Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao, who claims to have been a long-time friend of the director.
In a letter addressed to the Mettuguda police, Srinivasa Rao stated that he has known Rajamouli since 1990 and accused him of destroying his life and causing severe emotional distress. He alleged that their fallout stemmed from a love triangle. Srinivasa Rao also recorded a video, which he sent to the Mettu police station, holding Rajamouli responsible for his struggles.
In the widely circulated video, Srinivasa Rao explicitly blames Rajamouli for his current situation.
Srinivasa Rao, who worked as the executive producer for Rajamouli’s directorial Yamadonga, stated, “India’s most renowned director, SS Rajamouli, along with Rama Rajamouli, is the reason behind my decision to end my life. This is not for publicity; this is my final letter. Everyone, from MM Keeravani to Chandrasekhar Yeleti and Harun Raghavapudi, knows how close I have been to Rajamouli for years. I never thought a woman could come between us. I have no option left but to take this step. Rajamouli is the reason I am ending my life at 55. We worked together until Yamadonga, but he ruined my career for a woman.”
He further alleged, “He asked me to sacrifice my love for her, and though I initially resisted, I eventually agreed. However, he suspected that I had spoken about this to others, and after we argued, he began harassing me.”
Additionally, Srinivasa Rao reportedly accused the Baahubali director of engaging in black magic and attempting to undermine other filmmakers.
He also claimed that Rajamouli resorted to unethical tactics to maintain his dominance in the industry. However, no concrete evidence was provided to substantiate these allegations.
Srinivasa Rao emphasized that his actions were not driven by a desire for publicity but rather by a sense of despair, as he felt he had reached an emotional breaking point.
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli has yet to respond to these serious accusations.
