Srinidhi Shetty shot to stardom with the massive success of the KGF franchise. Despite being part of one of Indian cinema’s biggest blockbusters, she didn’t receive the career boost that many expected. After her Kannada debut, Srinidhi made her foray into Tamil cinema with Cobra and more recently stepped into Tollywood with HIT: The Third Case.

Although her role in KGF primarily revolved around glamour, Srinidhi showcased more of her acting prowess in HIT 3. Unfortunately, even that performance didn’t garner her the recognition she deserved. Known for her multilingual skills and active participation in film promotions, Srinidhi clearly has the potential to shine in author-backed roles that offer her more depth and visibility.

Currently, Srinidhi has a limited number of offers on hand. Among the few projects she’s considering, one includes a film opposite Tamil star Ajith Kumar. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran—who previously collaborated with Ajith on Good Bad Ugly—this upcoming project could place Srinidhi back in the spotlight. While sharing screen space with a major star like Ajith is definitely a strategic move for visibility, some industry insiders believe it may not offer her the meaty role she needs at this stage.

For long-term success, Srinidhi would benefit from choosing projects that highlight her acting capabilities rather than just her screen presence. Her next outing, Telusu Kada, co-starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, could be a game-changer for her in Telugu cinema. With the right choices and stronger roles, Srinidhi Shetty still has every chance to become a prominent face in South Indian cinema.
