Filmmaker duo Raj & DK are reportedly planning an exciting collaboration with Salman Khan, and the project is already generating strong buzz, especially around its leading lady.

Early speculation suggested that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might be cast opposite Salman. However, the latest updates indicate that Kareena Kapoor has emerged as the frontrunner for the role. While she hasn’t officially signed the film yet, reports suggest she has shown strong interest after discussions with Salman Khan himself.

If finalized, this would mark Kareena’s fifth collaboration with Salman after popular films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kyon Ki, Main Aur Mrs Khanna, and Bodyguard, making it a familiar and successful pairing.

Interestingly, the film is said to feature Salman Khan in a unique role—that of an ageing superhero who is forced back into action due to unforeseen circumstances, leading to a high-stakes conflict. This fresh concept has already piqued curiosity among fans.

On the other hand, there is still no clarity on whether Samantha was ever officially considered for the project. While she continues to explore opportunities in Bollywood following her work on the Citadel series (created by Raj & DK), she is yet to lock in a major Hindi film project.

The much-anticipated Salman–Raj & DK film will be produced by Atul Agnihotri in association with Mythri Movie Makers, further raising expectations around the project.
