Pre-production work is already underway, with the backend team gearing up to speed things up starting tomorrow. Actor Karthi is also working to wrap up his ongoing projects quickly so he can join Lokesh’s team at the earliest.

This time, reports suggest Lokesh is planning to bring strong female characters into the mix, unlike the previous LCU films. Buzz in Kollywood is that Anushka Shetty has been approached for a key role, and she is reportedly excited about the project. While her role details remain under wraps, sources say she has already been in touch with Lokesh’s team.

Adding more intrigue, Samantha’s name has also surfaced as a potential cast member. Industry talk hints that she might be considered for a significant role, though it’s unclear whether both Samantha and Anushka are being eyed for the same character or separate ones. In Kaithi and Vikram, there were no prominent female roles — Lokesh kept the focus entirely on male characters and gripping, action-driven storytelling without song sequences.
