There’s no need for a special introduction when it comes to Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor. With her evergreen charm and acting prowess, Kareena continues to compete with women in their 20s even today. She is known for maintaining a disciplined fitness regime and a healthy lifestyle, often hailed as the perfect example of “size zero.”

Recently, Kareena’s long-time nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar revealed some interesting details about the secret behind Kareena’s fitness. Rujuta, who has been guiding Kareena’s diet for several years, shared that the actress has been following the same diet plan for the past 18 years. Despite being over 40 and a mother of two, Kareena’s consistent routine is the reason she remains fit and graceful.

According to Rujuta, Kareena starts her day with dry fruits, followed by a workout session. Post-exercise, she refreshes and opts for poha or paratha for breakfast. For lunch, rice and dal are a staple on her plate. In the evenings, Kareena enjoys a cheese toast and seasonal fruits, especially mangoes during summer.

For dinner, Kareena usually prefers khichdi or pulao made with ghee. However, when she’s on set, her menu sees some adjustments. Rujuta mentioned that Kareena insists on eating khichdi at least five times a week, as she loves it deeply. Kareena herself has admitted on several occasions that she never gets bored of eating simple meals like rice, dal, and curd rice, even if her cook gets tired of preparing the same dishes daily.

Kareena also revealed that she finishes her dinner by 6 PM and makes sure to sleep by 9:30 PM. She jokingly said that her friends stopped inviting her to night parties because of her strict routine. By the time most people wake up, Kareena has already completed her workout. She added that many assume she eats quinoa and exotic health foods, but the reality is quite the opposite — her diet is simple, traditional, and sustainable.
