Popular star Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ upcoming film The Bluff is back in the spotlight following the release of its much-anticipated trailer. Tipped to be a pirate-themed action-adventure, the film also stars Karl Urban and is produced by the Russo brothers.

Based on the trailer, Priyanka essays the role of Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a former pirate who believes she has left her violent past behind while leading a peaceful life with her family in the Cayman Islands. However, her calm world is turned upside down when a vengeful figure from her past, played by Karl Urban, resurfaces seeking revenge.

The trailer is packed with high-octane action and intriguing elements. Priyanka delivers an intense performance, showcasing her combat skills using knives, swords, and cleverly designed traps to protect her family. The visuals are raw and gritty, with a strong emphasis on bloodshed and violence, highlighting the film’s dark and intense tone.

Directed by Frank E. Flowers from a script co-written with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff is produced by AGBO’s Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. The film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 25.
