Director Suni’s ambitious Kannada fantasy epic Gatha Vaibhavam has been drawing attention for its expansive storytelling and impressive box-office performance. Headlined by debutant SS Dushyanth alongside Ashika Ranganath, who essays multiple roles across different timelines, the film is now gearing up to captivate Telugu audiences.

The makers have officially announced that Gatha Vaibhavam will release in Telugu as a New Year special. PrimeShow Entertainment is bringing this visually rich spectacle to theatres on January 1, raising expectations among fantasy and mythology lovers.

At its core, Gatha Vaibhavam is a grand reincarnation saga that unfolds across multiple eras. The narrative spans mythological conflicts in Devaloka, Vasco da Gama’s Portuguese expeditions, the pre-independence period of coastal Karnataka, and the present day, seamlessly blending fantasy, history, and mythology.

Technically, the film boasts strong production values. William J. David’s cinematography, Judah Sandhy’s evocative background score, and Nirmal Kumar’s VFX work are being touted as the film’s major highlights, significantly enhancing the mythological and historical grandeur.
