Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that he intends to carry forward the OG franchise despite his demanding responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The star-politician continues to nurture his passion for cinema and shows no signs of stepping away from films entirely.

According to industry buzz, Pawan Kalyan is expected to return to acting after the release of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which is slated to hit screens in April 2026. Meanwhile, director Sujeeth has reportedly hinted to his close circle that he plans to revisit the OG universe with OG Part 2 in 2027.

At present, Sujeeth is busy with a project starring Nani, which is expected to be wrapped up by next year. Once that film is completed and released, the director is likely to shift his complete focus to OG 2. The tentative plan is to bring the sequel to theatres in 2028, strategically aligning the release ahead of the general elections.

Adding to the excitement, Pawan Kalyan recently surprised Sujeeth by gifting him a luxury SUV worth nearly ₹3 crore as a token of appreciation for his vision and dedication. Notably, this marks the first time the actor has presented such a lavish gift to a director, further highlighting the strong bond and mutual respect between the two.
