Once a dominant force in South Indian cinema with back-to-back blockbusters, Suriya has recently seen a dip in his box office momentum. After creating a sensation with Ghajini and roaring at the mass box office with the Singam franchise, the star has struggled to deliver a solid commercial hit in recent years.

Adding to the excitement, Trisha reunites with Suriya after nearly two decades since Aaru. Their on-screen chemistry is expected to be a major highlight. The film also features actors like Yogi Babu and Indrans in key roles.

For Suriya, this film is being seen as a crucial “make or break” moment. Industry circles believe that if Karuppu clicks big, it could mark his return to the pan-India race.
