Actress Hansika Motwani has officially addressed her separation from her husband following the family court verdict in Bandra, Mumbai, which granted them divorce last month. Until now, she had remained silent on the matter, but has recently broken her silence, expressing clarity and acceptance about her decision.

Speaking about the divorce, Hansika said she has no regrets and believes it was the right step for her well-being. She compared relationships to a journey, explaining that sometimes people realize they are on the wrong path and that it is better to step away rather than continue knowingly.

“Everything is fine now. Sometimes we board the wrong train. It is wrong to continue the journey knowingly. Getting down from that train is the best decision. That’s what I did,” she reportedly said.

She further added that she is in a much better mental and emotional state now and feels satisfied with her decision. At the same time, she emphasized that the reasons behind the separation are deeply personal and should remain private, stating that only she and her ex-husband truly know what went wrong. She also made it clear that she has no intention of discussing the matter publicly in the future.

Shortly after the divorce was finalized, Hansika visited the Golden Temple seeking peace, and later traveled to Japan with her mother and brother.

Hansika married Sohail Kathuria in December 2022, and the couple parted ways earlier this year.
