Young Tiger Jr NTR is all set to ignite the big screen with his much-awaited Bollywood debut in War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan, the Telugu superstar is stepping into Yash Raj Films’ high-octane spy universe — and expectations are sky-high.

While the makers have kept details of NTR’s character tightly under wraps, sources close to the production reveal that the actor is undergoing an intense physical transformation to match the film’s action-heavy demands.

Eshwar Harris, who served as NTR’s body double in RRR, recently spoke to Mana Stars about the actor’s preparation. “He’s on a disciplined diet and follows a rigorous training regimen. He’s clearly pushing himself to the limit for this role,” Eshwar shared.

Although the two didn’t interact during the filming of RRR, Eshwar recently met Jr NTR during an ad shoot. “He seemed a bit under the weather that day with a slight fever, but you could still see the results of his hard work — the transformation is real,” he added.

War 2 promises to be a gripping addition to YRF’s spy franchise and is slated to hit theatres on August 14, 2025 — just in time to set screens ablaze this Independence Day weekend.
