Young Rebel Star Prabhas and Om Raut’s high-budget mythological film ‘Adipurush’ is finally making some positive noises. Produced under the T-Series banner, this movie showcases the story of Ramayan on the big screens. Though everyone knows this story, Om Raut’s storytelling will be the crucial factor in determining the box office success of this movie.
The makers have spent hundreds of crores on this movie and used top-notch technology to present the film with a lot of grandeur and scale. The recently released trailer got 100 million views across all the languages and this is a huge record. The movie is all set to hit the screens on 16th June and sources say that the pre-release event for this magnum opus will be held in Tirupati on 11th June. With exactly one month left for the movie’s theatrical release, the team released a staggering poster.
The team wrote, “The devotion of everyone abounds, As Adipurush’s arrival resounds. One month to go! Jai Shri Ram. #Adipurush in cinemas worldwide on 16th June!” In this poster, we can see Prabhas looking fierce while aiming at the enemy with a bow and arrow. He is riding on the back of Hanuman. This poster looks amazing and it looks like the visual is taken out of nostalgic ‘Chandamama’ stories. It definitely raises the hype on the movie massively.
As we know, Prabhas will be seen as lord Ram in this movie and director Om Raut said many times that the ‘Baahubali’ hero is the perfect choice to play such an iconic role. In this movie, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita while Sunny Singh is Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan played the role of antagonist Lankesh in the movie. The movie is 174 minutes long which means that it is six minutes short of three hours.
