The much-anticipated historical action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, has officially been postponed. After weeks of speculation, the makers confirmed the news on social media, announcing that the film will now hit theaters on May 9, 2025.

Sharing the update, the team wrote, “The battle is set, and the fight for JUSTICE and DHARMA will be unstoppable! ⚔️🔥 #HariHaraVeeraMallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and NOTHING will alter the hunt this time. A saga of valor is all set to ignite the screens on May 9th, 2025.”

Earlier, HHVM was scheduled for a March 28 release, but with Nithiin’s Robinhood and MAD Square also targeting the same date, it led to speculations about a box-office clash. However, producer Sithara Vamsi had hinted at rescheduling if Veera Mallu’s arrival was confirmed.

Reports suggest that Pawan Kalyan still has some portions left to shoot, and post-production work is also pending. To ensure the highest quality, the team has opted not to rush and instead locked May 9 as the new release date—coinciding with the previously planned release window of Vishwambhara.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu features Nidhhi Agerwal as the female lead. MM Keeravani is composing the music, while AM Rathnam is bankrolling the project.
