Lock down has been in progress in all parts of the nation and the entire economy is seeing a fall. As all the sectors were being impacted by the lock down, Government is not getting the tax, which is essential for the running of the states.
Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan asked the Central Government to clear the past dues which would help the state in maintaining the system. On the other hand, four states in India, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand conformed that they won’t be able to pay salaries to the state employees, if the lock down situation continues in India.
Indian Government gave orders relaxing the lock down for shopkeepers who are selling essential items. By April 30th, Indian Government is planning to relax lock down for few sectors in the nation. The airline industry is getting ready to start operations and it may take a while for hospitality related sectors to pick up.
