Namita Mundada MLA from Beed, Maharashtra has attended the Assembly sessions on Friday. You might be thinking what is the big deal in it. But the MLA is eight months old pregnant and despite that she made it to the budget sessions of Assembly which stunned fellow legislators.
When asked Namita why did she come to the Assembly session, she replied that there are many issues concerning her constituency that she needs to raise in the House. “It is my duty and responsibility to attend the sessions for the people who have voted me,†said Namita.
About her pregnancy she said this is not a disease but just a phase which a woman goes through. “I’m following my doctor’s advice and take care of myself along with my work,” added Namita.
As and when this news broke out, applause are pouring down for Namita from all corners and on social media, they are appreciating the 30 year old Lawmakers efforts to do something for the people and constituency.
Truly, the country needs these sort of public representatives who can work under any circumstances.
