Tollywood star Ram Charan recently returned to the big screen with Game Changer, a political action thriller directed by Kollywood’s acclaimed filmmaker Shankar. Produced on a grand scale by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film was released as a Sankranti festival special.

Despite sky-high expectations, Game Changer turned out to be a box office disaster. As Charan’s first solo release after RRR, fans had pinned a lot of hopes on the project, but the film’s failure left them deeply disappointed. Many expressed frustration that three valuable years of Charan’s career were wasted on the film.

However, putting that setback behind, Charan is now focused on bouncing back with a solid lineup of films. Reports suggest that he is moving ahead with a well-planned strategy to complete his upcoming projects swiftly and ensure back-to-back releases.

Currently, Charan is busy with Peddi, directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. The film, a sports-based rural drama, is being shot at a rapid pace. The promotional material released so far has received an encouraging response from audiences.

The makers have already announced that Peddi will hit the screens on March 27, 2026. Charan is determined to complete the film’s shoot by the end of 2025, ensuring there are no delays in its release. He has reportedly instructed the team to stick to this schedule.

Soon after wrapping up Peddi, Charan is set to collaborate with Sukumar for his next project. Sukumar is currently finalizing the script and completing pre-production formalities. The film is expected to go on floors in early 2026.

Charan is said to be committed to his schedule without any deviations, aiming for a disciplined and consistent release strategy to regain his box office momentum.
