Pooja Hegde’s latest Bollywood release Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Rosshan Andrrews, hit the screens today amid great anticipation. However, it’s Pooja’s candid take on nepotism that’s currently making waves, offering fans a glimpse into her personal thoughts on the matter.

In an unfiltered interview, Pooja opened up about her unconventional entry into the film industry. “I don’t come from a film family. My parents are lawyers, and my younger brother is an orthopedic surgeon,” she shared. “Growing up in that environment, I never thought I would become an actress. It was never my plan, but I’m so grateful for this unexpected journey into cinema.”

Reflecting on her career, Pooja acknowledged her decade-long experience in the industry, having worked with some of the best filmmakers and actors. Despite this, she humbly stated, “I still feel like I have so much more to achieve.”
