YSR soul KVP. Rama Chandra Rao waited for so long in hibernation to shower his love towards his friend and former CM YS.Rajasekhara Reddy, releasing a book on his famous ‘Padayatra’ that bought Cong back to power in Andhra Pradesh. He compiled memories of YSR, which he wrote in his diary during his padayatra. Inspite of requests and representations from YSR’s detractors many from the high command, union ministers and even ministers from YSR cabinet along with PCC chief Botsa attended the grand function.
However if KVP thought to draw political mileage out of it, his rivals from YSRCP poured cold water on his aspirations. Ambati Rambabu said YSR never had the habit of writing a diary in his life time and KVP is misleading people. They even allege that all the information which was in KVP released book, was the excerpts of interview YSR had given to a leading regional daily during his padayatra. They even question had YSR wrote any diary it would have been with either his wife Vijayamma, son Jagan or daughter Sharmila and not with KVP.
All this became ammunition for his detractors in the party and they are planning to send the paper cuttings and complain to Sonia and high command on KVP for misleading the party and taking them for a ride.
