Tollywood hero Gopichand fiancee’s father V Rambabu(58) on Sunday committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.
Rambabu was an industrialist who owns several businesses (Real Estate, 2-3 Petrol Bunks, Commercial Complex etc.,). Depressed with the fact that his daughter’s marriage got cancelled, he took this extreme step.
Haritha, the daughter of Rambabu, holds an MBA degree in Australia. She got engaged to Gopichand on January 26th and they were about to tie the knot on February 24. All the arrangements for the wedding like despatching the wedding cards and booking the venue had already been done. But, due to the unknown reasons the marriage has been called off at last minute. Upset with this, Rambabu consumed poison on Sunday. At around 8 pm, he was rushed to Malakpet Yashoda hospital, where the doctors have declared he was no more.
Rambabu has close contacts with TDP politburo member Nandamuri Harikrishna. His native place is Guntur. May his soul rest in Peace!
