An Industry hit is a very big achievement for an actor or director. It brings too much of accolades and popularity for them. But the after effects of an industry hit is very tough. People expect more than an industry hit from your next project and it becomes very difficult to satisfy them.
Also at times, the effect of Industry hit falls on the next projects too. It is for that reason Rajamouli opted to work with comedian Sunil after Maghadeera there by immediately reducing the expectations as well as prevented the Magadheera effect on Maryada Ramanna.
However Trivikram faltered here itself. After an industry hit in the form of Attarintiki Daredi, he opted S/O Satyamurthy with Bunny who is also on a high with Race Gurram. The posters and trailers of S/O Satyamurthy have Attarintiki Daredi effect clearly on them.
People who have worked in the project tell us that the story also have some resemblances. So Trivikram failed to do a Rajamouli to some extent, we will have to see if S/O Satyamurthy impresses the audience and fans despite the resemblance with Attarintiki Daredi.
The shooting of S/O Satyamurthy is complete and the post production works are going on at full swing. The movie will be sent for the Censor formalities on 26th of this month. April 2nd is the tentative release date. There is a news that the movie may be postponed to April 8th, the Birthday of Allu Arjun but it is not yet officially confirmed.
