Samantha was the reigning queen of Tollywood until a year ago, but the tables have miraculously turned, and she is no longer the numero uno actress. Samantha used to have three to four biggies on hand in her prime.
Apart from S/O Satyamurthy she doesn’t have any other Telugu film at the moment. Sam was supposed to play the female lead in few big films, but they preferred Rakul Preeth to Samantha.
Although she is getting very busy in Tamil film industry, Samantha wouldn’t like to lose her grip over Telugu films. She is waiting for some more big films to come her way and the latest buzz from T town says that Samantha is likely to be roped in Allu Arjun’s next film.
Allu Arjun is very impressed with Samantha’s professionalism during the shoot of S/O Satymurthy that he wants to repeat her in his next film directed by Boyapati Srinu. Nothing has been finalized yet. They will take the final call after seeing the audience response for this pair in SOS.
