Actor Nikhil’s Surya Vs Surya had released Worldwide today on the occasion of Holi festival. The movie has got ‘Good’ already from the morning shows making it an interesting prospects for Nikhil.
Surya Vs Surya and Dhanush’s dubbing film, Anekudu were the prominent releases in both the Telugu States this weekend. Dhanush’s last film, Raghuvaran B.Tech is a big hit in Telugu States and it is the first hit for Dhanush which created a market for him in Telugu.
Banking on the success, Anekudu has got buyers and it got good release for a dubbing film. However the movie did not interest the audience much as the occupancy rate is very poor and the talk is also not in favour of a revival.
On the other side, Surya Vs Surya banking on a novel concept and the good will of Nikhil has got good openings. The film’s content and narration appeals to Urban audiences especially the Multiplexes audience, where its prospects look bright. We will have to see if that will be enough or not to make it a hit.
Nikhil’s last two films – Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya went on to become hits and brought profits to every one involved in the trade. We will have to see if he completed hattrick with this movie. Conditions are looking favourable. All the best!!
