Kejriwal sidelines competitors!

This is a regular pattern in politics. If granted an absolute majority by the public, then the first step of the winner is to sideline his competitors in the Party, comprehensively. We saw that earlier in the BJP when veterans LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi were relegated to the sidelines and replaced with a coterie of Modi and Amit Shah.
The same scenario has repeated itself in the AAP today. Two of the founding members of the AAP, Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan have been removed from the highest decision making body of AAP , the ‘Political Affairs Committee’.
Yadav has also been removed as spokesperson of the Party. With their ouster, the two dissenting voices in AAP have been silenced. This marks yet another feature of Kejriwal’s ‘use and throw’ policy. He used Anna Hazare to get on the national stage and later discarded him.
He used Yadav and Bhushan to assist in the organizational structure and victory in Delhi polls. Purpose served now, away they go!
