Plenty of stars have been killed by the rumour mill in recent years — some more than once. The list includes Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhuri Dixit and South stars like Rajinikanth, Manorama etc.
The latest addition to the list is Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor who known for his villain role in Gopichand starrer Telugu Sahasam movie. On Sunday it was rumoured that the senior actor had passed away due to a car accident.
Some reports did rounds saying the actor has been killed in a car accident while travelling from Mumbai to Khandala. The false rumours were started by some people on Whatsapp and soon the news spread like wildfire with discussions surrounding his death and some mourning about the same.
However, it later turned out that the news was fake and that Shakti is absolutely fine and healthy. Shakti Kapor son Siddhanth took to Twitter to clarify the hoax. ‘’Its all rumours, my father is fine .. there was no accident., touchwood.. Please RETWEET all.’’
As per reports Shakti Kapoor daughter and Haider actress Shradda Kapoor was said to be disappointed over her father’s death rumours. She is shocked as well as amused by the false reports. Although, as silly as they seem some fatal rumors cause panic among stars’ families and fans. Shakti was last seen in the 2014 film ‘Mr Joe B Carvalho’.
