The hype surrounding Andhra Pradesh bifurcation and the so called deal involving TRS merger with Congress was the toast of the town from 2010 to 2014. Many senior Congressmen were blindly certain that KCR is going to merge his party given his statements around that time and fell for it.
Finally, the Congress party with hopes that KCR would merge his party announced Telangana statehood like a shocker and silently wished that KCR announced the merger sooner or later.
But when this wasn’t possible Congress hoped of atleast a pre poll or a post poll alliance with TRS which never happened. After using choicest abuses against Modi, now KCR is cozying upto the PM and BJP in order to stymie TDP’s resurgence in Telangana and also to get more funds.
Although there is also enough hype even now that TRS may join NDA soon, some die hard loyalists of BJP in the party say it all depends on Modi now and he is not like Sonia to be tricked or fooled easily and fall into TRS trap!
