The Aam Admi Party’s grand slam win in the Delhi assembly polls seems to have failed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned trip to Hyderabad. Modi was organized to visit the city in March and awaited to address a huge public meeting at the Parade Grounds.
After the poll fiasco in the national capital, BJP sources say that the party has altered its policy, determining against revealing Modi at the state level, especially in states where the BJP is still to build its support base.
It has become a custom to view the success or failure of the BJP in the states as a measure of Modi’s guidance, which is incorrect. After noticing this, the party has decided against political marches addressed by Modi in the states at least for now, said a senior BJP leader.
As an outcome of this, Modi’s initial public meeting in Hyderabad after acquisition as Prime Minister Stands scrapped. The meeting was planned to be held in March, observing the concluded of BJP’s ongoing membership drive in the state.
The state BJP president told that the PM’s rally would be scheduled sometime in September. He, nevertheless, refused rescheduling of Modi’s trip to the Delhi poll results
