No matter how big or small an actor is, they are always sought after to put in an appearance at weddings and functions. In fact, many people tend to chase the actors towards this end.
Recently, a particular manager had organized a dance performance of actress Namitha at a function in Surat. Incidentally, the manager is said to be a past acquaintance of Namitha. News is that he had organized similar shows in the past and made sure that Namitha got a good pay check after the show.
So, when this manager asked her to do a show, Namitha rehearsed for a few songs and performed in Surat. After making the initial payment, the manager is said to have absconded without paying the remaining amount. Since the manager’s phone was switched off and he did not respond to any of her calls, Namitha realized that she was duped. Though she did think of lodging a complaint,
Namitha says she was not sure of getting the money and confesses she wanted to avoid any legal entanglements.
A wise Namitha is now advising her co-stars not do the same mistake she did. We are told she gave away the advance to her fellow dancers.
Well, life does teach lessons the hard way.
