Actress Sonam Kapoor registered a complaint with the Juhu police on February 5 after she found a diamond necklace missing from her bungalow. The Juhu police have registered a theft case against unknown persons and have begun investigations.
Sonam Kapoor, in her complaint, said that, after she attended a party in Bandra on February 4, she returned home at around 2 am and kept the necklace in her drawer, but found to be missing during the day. The police however, are looking into this matter from all the angles possible, including if Sonam Kapoor had dropped the necklace in the said party.
The cops will also check the CCTV footage to understand if Sonam had worn the worn the necklace when she left the venue. The police have also started questioning the domestic help at the Kapoor residence.
