What is your understanding of good governance? Is it about resolving the existing problems of the people and move forward towards growth or come up with new initiatives which call for a lot of government machinery exercise added with expense and then a change? This is the big debate among many in Telangana.
The reason for that is the initiatives being taken by the Telangana CM KCR in the name of Vaastu. Apparently, KCR strongly believes Secretariat must be shifted to Erragadda and so must be the Assembly owing to the Vaastu defects.
If not, he is ready to splurge nearly Rs 150 crores for Vaastu changes. The question being raised by many rationalists is “He is doing so many changes in the name of Vaastu. But if Vaastu is not correct, how did the Telangana movement become successful and how did he become CM? All this rework is not at all required.
As it is, Hyderabad is suffering from many issues and they got aggravated after bifurcation. If KCR really wants to prove his mettle, he should get to them than create new issues in the name of Vaastu.” While this may be the Telangana people’s perspective, it remains to be seen how much KCR will pay attention to it.
