Perhaps the best definition for a tall, muscular and handsome hunk in Tollywood would go to the towering hunk Daggubati Rana. He may not have lunged forward to become a big star but he is getting there with the right kind of movies and making his presence felt in Bollywood as well.
Currently, the discussion is on about Rana’s recent release in Bollywood. We are talking about the film ‘Baby’ which got huge positive reviews and appreciations from all corners. However, on a business angle, the collections did not exceed Rs 70 crores.
This figure is not a big thing considering the scope of Bollywood market. Nowadays, any big star movie is touching anywhere between Rs 100 crores to Rs 150 crores. Baby had a stellar cast of charming star Akshay Kumar, the iconic Anupam Kher, the deadly Danny Denzongpa and the menacing Kay Kay Menon.
However, it failed to reach that expected figure. The good side is, Rana got a lot of marks for his performance and of course his brawny physique. Better luck next time to this Daggubati scion.
