Perhaps for the first time in the history of Andhra Pradesh, the state government is contemplating to lodge complaint against the state’s first citizen- Governor. Disappointed with the functioning of Governor ESL Narasimhan and his alleged “silence” on the injustice meted out to the truncated state of AP, AP state government may file complaint against him.
Deputy CM KE Krishna Murthy on Wednesday stated that gross injustice is being done to AP by Telangana State government in issues like “Eamcet”, change of names of joint institutes listed in schedule X.
What’s more concerning AP is that Governor Narasimhan is mum on them despite bringing them to his notice. According to reports, AP has decided to take up the issue with the Union government as Narasimhan is “common Governor”.
More than three state ministers of AP said to have reported the issue to CM Chandrababu and they apparently told Naidu that Narasimhan is “acting” like the Governor of Telangana alone.
Apparently, AP government still have “confidence” on Narasimhan that he will protect interests of AP. But if things don’t change, it’s going to take the issue to notice of PM Modi.
