From the time news began to make rounds about the 150th movie of megastar Chiranjeevi, the biggest question that popped up was, what would be the genre of this movie. At the moment, nothing is being leaked or revealed and strong secrecy is being maintained on the storyline and subject.
So far, Chiru’s movies had political touch with mass following with ‘you are the leader’ type of message to the audience. Films such as ‘Stalin’ ‘Indra’ ‘Tagore’ have that flavor. Now he has entered politics in real life so it is better he does not touch it.
At the same time he cannot do youthful stuff given his age and routine comedy will not work. So, the best could be something like the Venkatesh starrer ‘Drishyam’. The film must have a role which suits his age and story must be the hero more than his image.
Many feel at this point, Chiru needs to underplay his charisma. If he does that he would surely steal all hearts. Inside news is something like that is happening wherein a powerful story which is an emotional thriller is being shaped up. Let us wait and watch.
