Gone are the days when there was open animosity between Telangana protagonists and Andhra’s super rich business and film families. There were times KCR and his family members, openly threatened Andhra film producers and actors at peak of the Telangana movement.
And now they seem to be on a reconciliatory note that it is better to do business in a pragmatic manner. There are reports that KCR’s daughter and Nizamabad MP Kavitha has invested in an upcoming Telugu film that has Akhil Akkineni, the son of Amala and Nagarjuna.
The film’s producers Sudhakar Reddy and his son and hero Nithiin are from Telangana and sources say that since both of them enjoy excellent rapport with Kavitha, this has been worked out.
KTR had once openly said he has good links with Andhras, now Kavitha seems to be following brother’s route. What’s wrong if it is win-win for Telugu people. This harmony is much needed for the development of both states since centre has ditched in a big way.
