Ladies And Gentlemen film caught the attention of film lovers with interesting promotional campaign. Based on the social network and cyber crimes, this film has a hard hitting tale of few youngsters who represent the today’s youth.
Story :
Krishna Murthy (Chaitanya Krishna) is a student who yearns for a girlfriend. Finally he finds his lady love (Swathi Deekshit) in Facebook. Anand (Kamal Kamaraju) is a busy man who doesn’t spend enough time with his wife Priya (Nikhita Narayan). Their lives take a turn with the entry of Rahul (Adivi Sesh). Vijay (Mahath Raghavendra) is a call center guy who takes wrong path in his life.
Performances:
Sesh Adivi is suave and very apt for his role. He has a very good screen presence and his performance is natural. Mahath Raghavendra did well in this film. He has a very complicated character but pulled it off with ease. Chaitanya Krishna is good.
Nikhita Narayan is expressive and stands out during the climax sequence. Jump Jilani fame Swathi Dikshith is glamorous and also can perform. Her character has a very nice twist towards the end which turns out to be the biggest surprise. Kamal Kamaraju is believable and Jasmine Bhasin is alright. Jeeva is usual.
Technicalities:
Manjunath’s direction is good. He did well to keep everything simple throughout the film. Many directors will feel it extremely difficult to run a film with multiple stories. Manjunath is a talent to watch out for. Raghu Kunche’s music is passable. Dialogues are fine. Cinematography is neat and Editing is crisp. Technically everyone chipped in with decent output in their respective departments. Producers need to be lauded for making something different from the routine.

Analysis:
Ladies And Gentlemen has a story that will easily connect with today’s youth. This film exposes the harsh realities of Social Network. The film conveys a very strong message without any sweet coating. Not many movies have the heart to tell the harsh realities of life. Ladies and Gentlemen will stand out as one of its kind movie for sure. There are some problems with the film though.
It takes an eternity to start moving. First half is very pale and dull. One would get disconnected with the lackluster screenplay in the first half. But the director made it up for the weaknesses during the second half which runs at a very nice pace. Climax of the film is surprising as well as shocking. Ladies And Gentlemen is not a fictional subject.
There are people who act exactly as the principal characters of this film. That is the strong point of Ladies And Gentlemen. It is brutally honest and doesn’t beat around the bush in conveying the message. The makers didn’t try to end it as a sugar candy romance. That honesty certainly deserves some brownie points. You may watch it if you like to see movies that are close to reality.
Verdict: Ladies and Gentlemen is a Bold and Honest Attempt.
