Though late Akkineni Nageswara Rao used to be a believer in practicality, his son King Nagarjuna takes the spiritual side. Obviously after portraying the roles of Annamayya, Sriramadasu and Saibaba, definitely that effect will be there on any actor. There other day, Nag made some interesting connection between his father and his friend VB Rajendra Prasad who left his world recently.
“Sometimes you have to believe numbers connect friends. Producer VB Rajendra Prasad’s 11th day ceremony and my father’s first death anniversary, fall on the same day (January 22nd)”, said Nagarjuna. Legendary Akkineni and producer VBR (owner of Jagapthi Art Pictures, father of hero Jagapathi Babu) share a nice bonding apart from that hero-producer relation. Recently VBR had a natural death mostly due to ageing and his son Jagapathi Babu revealed that his father has a natural death. It is sad that both these friends left this world forever within a year span.
