Although there was a mass exodus of population from Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana to Andhra Pradesh during the festival Sankaranti season and as per estimations over 35 lakh people travelled to AP from TS, there was hardly any sign of Swine Flu registered in AP.
Surprisingly, there were very minute number of Flu cases registered in AP. According to experts, the soaring temperatures in Andhra Pradesh region and coastal climate are not favoring the flu thus the spreading of flu is minimised.
Adding to this, Andhra Pradesh state government highly attentive and cautious ever since Swine Flu was reported in Hyderabad and Telangana. Also adding to this, Telangana government’s slow approach towards the prevention measures costed a lot and boosted the wide spread of the disease.
